Wild wolf song where have you gone are you still awake to the calling of the moon? if the ice breaks can you shift into form and dive towards the magic from which you were born? glistening ghosts of stories never told scratch at the surface emerge and unfold withered wings ice angels melt into the earth as she sings
 wild wolf
wild wolf won't you come run with us? illuminate wild wolf song where have you gone are you still awake to the calling of the moon?

3.
Unspoken and untouched I fill textures of the space between us crystal air stops time unwinds the possibilities before my eyes your thoughts or mine? breathing beneath the surface her silver hand preparing the next movement from which this dance will unfold Pressed between my wishes and my fears can all these tears ever find their place reaching for the clear open space where I am still unwritten Create me from nothing
 Create me from nothing
Create me from nothing so I can rest my story Thoughts that I ask the wind to carry away to crystal air

4.
When the rain falls red I am chained to the sound
 Lying in your bed
Gave up all that I’d found

Each day you force me under
I hope you’ll see my colour
 Exception to rules
 I don’t break
 Can you keep me?

 Chorus:
 Who are you
 asking love?
 How could they keep you
 How could they keep you
 You’re the wildest of animals
 How could they keep you
 How could they keep you
 Hold yourself
 I can hold myself

 When the rose burned red
I was slave to the sight
 Now its leaves fall dead
 I awake to the sound
Can love be held in darkness?
Are we even a part of this
 Exception to rule?
 I might break
Can you remind me of the peace in silence?

(You are free, you are wild
 It’s who you are
And all that we have seen
 Is just one part)

 Chorus:

Who are you
 asking love?
 How could they keep you
 How could they keep you
 You’re the wildest of animals
 How could they keep you
 How could they keep you
 Hold yourself
 You can own yourself

 Break:
 Tenderly
 I’ll go tenderly
 Tenderly
 When it’s time,
 Before my heart is withered

And only the sounds will remain
 Only the sounds will remain
 Only the sound will remain

 Tenderly
 I’ll go tenderly
 When it’s time
 All for my heart
And only the sounds will remain
 Only the sounds will remain
 Only the sigh

about

These songs are odes to lost parts of the self, to longing for reconnection, to childlike wonder, magic and to the alchemy involved in transforming our heart. All of these songs died and came back to life twice, keeping with the theme of my life so far - which has included a lot of mini-deaths and brought me into new versions of myself several times over.

Now and then I’ve landed in a place of deep peace and a felt sense of unconditional love - only to move off again in search of the same (maybe from a new angle?). Some of these songs give voice to the sweetness and excitement that comes from landing in a place where the heart feels at home. And some songs give voice to the sadness and confusion that come from feeling disconnected and alone.

I hope you can feel the care that went into the making of these songs - as well as the challenges, strength, magic, and all colours!)

With all my love on this mad journey of being a human - thank you for listening and feeling with me!
